The Calathea 'Lancifolia' is commonly known as the Rattlesnake plant for the striking dark green and light green patterns on its long, narrow foliage. The undersides are a beautiful contrasting purple colour. Like other members of the Marantaceae family, the leaves fold upwards at night due to nyctinasty.
LIGHT Bright indirect light.
WATER Allow the top 25% of soil to dry out between waterings. Calatheas are sensitive to tap water, which may cause browning at the leaf tips.
This plant is pet friendly.
