The Sage Palm (Cycas revoluta) is technically not a palm but actually a cycad, a group of ancient and prehistoric tropical and subtropical plants. Native to southern Japan, the unique thick feather-like fronds grow out from the center of the large round trunk. The Sago Palm is easy to maintain and makes a fascinating houseplant.
